Opened in May of 2000, the four-star Hotel San Juan de los Reyes brings together the tradition of its facade and the practical but cosy decoration of its interior. The building, which has been declared a property of cultural interest, is located in the famous Jewish quarter in the heart of historic Toledo near the most important monuments: the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Santa María la Blanca Synagogue, the Museum of Victorio Macho, El Greco Museum, the Church of Santo Tomé and the Synagogue of Tránsito. It is just over five minutes from the cathedral.

Coming from the Puerta de Bisagra which flanks the wall, you cross the Paseo de Recaredo to get to the city's historic quarter. Our hotel is located between the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes and the Tránsito Synagogue, number 5, Calle Reyes Católicos. |

Guided tour in Toledo |

According to the records of Toledo's Property Registry, this building was first inscribed in the year 1889 to be used as a sword factory.
In 1918 it housed the San José flour mill, and in 1972 it was gutted down to the foundations to build the current basements and renovate all the machinery of the flour mill which continued to operate until the end of June 1996.
Its marked industrial style is in line with most of the buildings of this type from the late 19th century, and architecturally, it is classified a Neo-Mudejar style building.
In the boiler room you can find the archeological remains of an old wall which have been placed under a grating to be studied.

Our "Reyes Católicos", or "Catholic Royals", meeting hall can be divided into two with a movable panel that separates one part from the other.
When divided, we call one of the rooms Meeting Hall 1, or "Isabella the Catholic Queen" and the other part Meeting Hall 2, or "Ferdinand the Catholic King".
